After a good night's rest in a warm bed and a decent breakfast, we really felt that we were now in a different country compared to the last couple of days. The day's journey took us to Wadi Rum through some amazing and every changing scenery. This pink desert of tall weathered sandstone mountains is a place where Lawrence of Arabia spent time. We bounced around in the back of an open air jeep through parts of the desert.
We made a brief stop at a bedouin camp to try some of their special brew tea and view the wares they had on sale. The rest of the day was spent travelling to Petra where we spent the night.
